Admission to M.Sc. Program in Economics

All applicants must complete and submit the on-line application form. Eligible applicants will be contacted by our Call Center after they submit their on-line application to schedule an interview.

The required documents listed below must be submitted to our department in case the applicant is admitted to the program.*

  • Online Application Form
  • A 4-year undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • Official Transcript min GPA of 2.25/4.00
  • ALES and/or GMAT and/or GRE score
  • Proof of English proficiency

Detailed Descriptions of the Requirements

 

Official Transcripts

Please submit official transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate coursework taken. We only accept official transcripts submitted in sealed envelopes from the registrar's office of your university. Transcripts must show the names, codes, dates, and grades received for all completed coursework.

Note: a Baccalaureate Degree from an Accredited Institution is required for admission.

Test Scores

All students must submit ALES and/or GRE General Exam and/or GMAT test scores. The minimum requirements are:

  • ALES(EA-SAY) ≥ 75 or
  • GMAT ≥ 540 or
  • GRE (quantitative) ≥ 155
Proof of English Proficiency

Minimum requirements for the accepted language proficiency tests are as follows:

  • IELTS ≥ 6.5 or
  • TOEFL IBT ≥ 90 or
  • YDS / ÜDS / KPDS / YÖKDİL ≥ 75 or
  • BILET 3 ≥ 75
