Admission to M.Sc. in Economics

All applicants must complete and submit the on-line application form. Eligible applicants will be contacted by our Call Center after they submit their on-line application to schedule an interview.

The required documents listed below must be submitted to our department in case the applicant is admitted to the program.

  • On-line Application Form
  • A 4-year undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • Official Transcript
  • ALES and/or GMAT and/or GRE score
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
  • Proof of English proficiency

In the interview, the applicants will be asked to present their academic and professional backgrounds in detail and discuss their motives for applying to the programs and their future career plans. Applicants are strongly advised to submit a statement of purpose of 500 words or less, written in English and two reference letters in the interview. Please click here for the application calender.

Official Transcripts

Please submit official transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate course work taken. We only accept official transcripts submitted in sealed envelopes from the registrar's office of your university. Transcripts must show the names, codes, dates and the grades received for all completed coursework.

Note: a Baccalaureate Degree from an Accredited Institution is required for admission.

Test Scores

All students must submit ALES and/or GRE General Exam and/or GMAT test scores. The minimum requirements are:

  • ALES ≥ 70 or
  • GMAT ≥ 450 or
  • GRE (quantitative) ≥ 149
Proof of English Proficiency

Minimum requirements for the accepted language proficiency tests are as follows:

  • TOEFL IBT ≥ 72 or
  • YDS ≥ 70
Letters of Recommendation

We require two letters of recommendation. These may be obtained from professors who are familiar with your academic history. All letters must be originals with original signatures of the recommending person. Letters without signatures will not be accepted.
